Created through careful, thoughtful consultation with Cree communities, partners, and stakeholders, this Regional Tourism Strategy sets the course for our collective efforts.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our consultations, shared ideas, and provided feedback as part of our strategy development – you have helped to chart the course for the future, ensurng we move in a direction that reflects the aspirations of our communities and honours Cree people, culture, and land.

We are currently conducting consultations for the 2025-2030 Regional Tourism Strategy!

We invite you to gather with us, enjoy a snack, and have your voice heard as we create the next Regional Tourism Strategy together. Anyone who participates in our consultations will be entered for a chance to win a trip for 4 to Nibiischii.*

  • Wemindji – June 5, 9 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 to 4 PM – Band Office
  • Nemaska – June 7, 9 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 to 4 PM – Band Office
  • Waskaganish – June 10, 9 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 to 4 PM – Band Office
  • Eastmain – June 11, 9 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 to 4 PM – Band Office
